In May 2025, Lanco welcomed more than 1,500 visitors for the inaugural Encuentro del Cranberry, a celebration of Chile’s unique and growing cranberry harvest. The event featured harvest tours, culinary tastings, cultural excursions, and a live cooking show with renowned Chilean chef Carlo von Mühlenbrock, recognized for his creativity and dedication to local cuisine.
Organized by Cran Chile, Ocean Spray, and regional partners, the encounter positioned the Los Ríos Region as the cranberry capital of the Southern Hemisphere. Looking ahead, organizers are preparing for an even larger edition in 2026, which will return under a new name—the Cranberry Festival—with ambitions to welcome visitors from across the globe.
